
Equipment Check-Out Procedures

Go to room 4013 in the
Carolina Coliseum between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. |
• |
Sign up on the corresponding class sheet
outside the door. |
• |
Fill out a legal
waiver for the camera you use.
You will be asked to provide the date, your name, camera
set number and your phone number.
Staff will also check to make sure you are receiving working
equipment |

Pick up corresponding tripod with
your camera set. |
• |
Please note that cameras can only
be checked out in four-hour blocks. If you want to check
them out for a longer period, you will need written permission
from your instructor. This is true of all video and still
cameras. |
Equipment Check-In Procedures
• Return camera set and tripod to room 4013 by the end of your
reservation period. Please note that the
set will be due in between 8:30 and 9 a.m. the next school day if
reserved for overnight
or weekend use.
• Camera set will be reviewed by staff to make sure all pieces
are there and in proper working order.
• Camera set includes the following pieces
that must be accounted for: 1 Sony DSR DVCam, 1 dynamic
lavaliere mic, 1 Stagemaster mic, 1 mic cable, 2 Sony lithium
batteries, 1 operation manual, 1 white balance card,
1 Sony HVL 20dW2 10/20 watt light, 1 camera bag and 1 tripod with
case. Lavaliere mics have mic clips that also must be accounted
for. |
