2006 Career Fair

The SJMC Fall Career Fair was held November 2. More than 160 students were interviewed by 62 recruiters from 41 organizations.

According to Shirley Staples Carter, Director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, “The Career Fair was well attended by both students and media professionals from right here in Columbia to as far away as the Tribune Company in Chicago.... Also associated with the career fair is the media news panel, specially crafted and produced by Cecile Holmes who did a superb job of organizing the panel and serving as moderator.”

The Spring SJMC Career Fair will be held on March 1.
