Bob Wertz

As manager of creative services in Corporate Marketing Communications for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Bob Wertz is responsible for coordinating design and media buying services.

Wertz has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications with honors from the South Carolina Honors College. In 2000, he received a Fellow, Life Management Institute certification. He has spent more than 10 years as an designer and art director in Columbia, primarily in the insurance industry. His work has won local, regional and national awards.

He is a founding board member of AIGA South Carolina, a statewide organization dedicated to advancing the graphic design profession and served two years as vice president and two years as president. He is also a graduate of the 2010 Leadership Columbia program.
