Dr. Paul S. Lieber is a recognized specialist in the analysis
and communication of advanced information technology to and
through international media systems. An award-winning researcher
of global strategic communication and business ethics, his
work appears in numerous publications including the Journal
of Mass Media Ethics, PR Tactics, New Media & Society and The
Corporate Citizen, and was likewise presented at several
high profile international communication and business conferences.
Dr. Lieber also maintains an active presence in nationwide
higher education diversity initiatives, including site creation
of Louisiana State University's 'Forum on Media Diversity.'
In 2007, USC's Mortar Board honor society awarded Lieber
its Excellence in Teaching Award. He was nominated for the
award by a student in his public relations principles class.
Lieber joined the USC faculty after serving as an assistant
professor at Emerson College. He teaches graduate and undergraduate
classes ranging from introductory to doctorate level including
both mass communication and public relations ethics, mass
communication and society, and finally individual courses
in public relations principles and management.
Prior to academia, Lieber owns several years of full-time
public relations, investor relations and corporate communication
experience of serving multinationals in nearly a dozen countries.
He currently serves as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Richland
