Adjunct Faculty
George L. Johnson has been teaching adjunct since 1997,
most often the senior-level courses on Public Relations Management
and Campaigns.
Johnson's day job is Vice President of Federal Affairs at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, where he created and managed the state's largest corporate in-house, full-service agency and started the company's private foundation. He's widely recognized for his expertise in public health policy.
A graduate of Furman University, he received his MA in journalism
and mass communications from USC in 1996.
He is one of only about 300 public relations professionals
elected to the College of Fellows of the Public Relations
Society of America.
