Caroline
Foster
Adjunct Faculty
Currently editor of South Carolina Wildlife magazine,
Caroline Foster graduated from the College of Charleston
with an undergraduate degree in English in 1985 and, in 1990,
earned a master’s degree from USC’s College of
Journalism and Mass Communications. She has worked on the
editorial staff of South Carolina Wildlife as a writer
and editor since 1995, the past three as editor-in-chief.
Foster has written feature articles for magazines and newspapers
across South Carolina and beyond, writing about topics from
heart-care technology and plastic surgery to home design
and art. She has also written many, many feature articles
about outdoor topics for South Carolina Wildlife magazine
(of course!) and numerous columns and op-ed pieces for the
Board chairman and the director of the S.C. Department of
Natural Resources, the agency that publishes South
Carolina Wildlife.
Foster has a husband and three children—one a working
(yay!) performer and recent college grad, one a sophomore
at the University of Central Florida, and one bringing up
the rear in third grade. In her spare time, Foster enjoys
cooking and exercising (I’ve found you really need
to enjoy those about equally). |
