Glenda Alvarado has worked for 15 years in the advertising field.
She has held several newspaper sales positions and worked as Media
Director at local agencies in Texas. In addition, she has served
as media buyer and advertising account executive, working with clients
such as Covenant Health System, Golden Corral, Cellular One and United
Supermarkets.
Glenda earned her Bachelor's in Journalism from Angelo State University
in 1990 and her Master's in Mass Communications from Texas Tech University
in August 2006. She defended her dissertation in December 2008.
Glenda’s primary research interests are in sport sponsorship
and local advertising. She also has interests in Hispanic marketing
and electronic survey methods.
