2006 visual communications graduate from Aiken, S.C.
Mary spent the 2005-2006 academic year in a Study
Abroad program at the University of Bamberg in Germany. She
shared her experience in words and photos as often as she
could - or at least as often as her internet connection allowed.
At USC, Mary was
involved in a variety of journalism activities. She
worked for three years at USC’s student media,
including serving as editor-in-chief of garnet&black, the
University’s student
magazine.
In addition, she reported
on the Democratic National Convention in Boston for a blog
sponsored by Cingular’s Wireless Election Connection
and reported on Myrtle Beach’s Biker Week
through Newsplex.
Mary also interned as a copy editor for the Money
Section at USA Today in Washington, D.C.
