Many students ask if internships are really necessary. And the answer, quite frankly, is yes. Internships are a way to discover if you will like working in your chosen career field and to discover if you would rather work in a small town or large city. Internships are a way to help you find out who you are and to begin networking in your chosen field and for some, a way to get their first job.

Students were out and about this summer doing a variety of internships to aid them in answering those questions. From small towns to large cities they were involved in a variety of opportunities.

Here are just a few of their experiences:

Josh Dawsey
Fortune Magazine
Lauren Hinnant
WLTX, WSOC
Hannah Moseley
FOX Charlotte
Juliana Hutchings -
The Chronicle Of The Horse
Desiree Murphy
