INTERNSHIP

WKTC-My63

The station is just beginning its internship program. We are a small station that is growing very quickly. Here in Columbia we are channel 63 - formerly The WB Network - and we are the new My Network TV affiliate. However, from our location in Columbia we are actually running 3 stations. In addition to channel 63 we are also operating WMYW-ch. 47 in Wilmington (My Network TV) and WHDS-ch.32 in Savannah (Telemundo). Spanish language skills helpful but not required.

Two internships available:

1.) Web design - The right candidate would be proficient in web building and design; able to work unsupervised, creative, team player, good personality. Must be able to communicate effectively. Willing to contact syndication companies and television networks for logos, content, etc.

2.) General Intern - This intern would help with a variety of assignments including answering the phone, filing, script writing, organization of presentation packets. Ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively; be proficient in Word, Power Point, Photo Shop. Must be able to work with limited supervision, team player, good personality.
