The WBTV news internship program allows interns to learn about different careers within the broadcast journalism industry. Students are encouraged to seek advice from and learn from as many different WBTV employees as possible throughout the internship.
We accept interns in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. We require interns be of junior or senior standing, and they must receive college credit for the internship.
Students interested in applying for an internship can send a resume and cover letter to the station. In the cover letter, please state areas of interest (for example, reporting, writing, etc.) and which semester you’re interested in interning.
