Responsibilities:
Duties will vary but include creating or updating agency publications using desktop
publishing software; graphic design; news release distribution; assistance
in video production projects; assistance in updating the agency’s web
site; management of digital photo files; and development of marketing tools
used by the agency to enhance relationships with business and industry.
While this is an unpaid position, it offers excellent opportunities
for well-rounded experience in public relations. Our agency
is a national leader in helping people with disabilities
become successfully employed, and the Public Information
office supports these efforts with a variety of resources
in printed and electronic form.
Skills:
Strong writing skills, computer skills (MS Office,
experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator a
plus).
