The SC Broadcasters Association (SCBA) is the trade association for the radio and television stations in South Carolina. The Association provides programs and services to support its members including two conventions per year. Primary intern responsibilities include member correspondence in various forms on a day-to-day basis and maintaining the website job bank. Other duties are based on the project/event the Association is promoting or executing at the time. Depending on the semester interning, interns can assist with on-site convention execution. Internship offers students the chance to meet and network with broadcasters from around the state at board meetings and other association events. Interns can also participate in shadowing opportunities at SC stations. For more information about SCBA, visit www.scba.net.
