Summary: This unpaid intership will allow
students to gain
experience in public relations with a mix of marketing and
business. It will also offer insights
and opportunities in advertising, public relations and visual
communications.
Reports to: Assist the Marketing Coordinator
Requirements:
- Excellent writing capability, verbal communication skills,
design background and creativity.
Job Duties:
- Drafting and sending out press releases
- Helping develop
a complete media kit, writing radio/tv copy, designing
brochures,
- Proofing/editing grant proposals
- Attend meetings in the
community (Chamber of Commerce events, Association of
Fundraising Professionals, etc.)
Accountability: Carry out assigned tasks to help
achieve the overall goal of a successful season.
