About Us :
EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia, South Carolina is the 10th largest children’s museum in the United States and the home of EDDIE, the world's largest child. Because EdVenture is the most exciting attraction of its kind statewide, it continues to draw significant crowds of our target demographic, which includes children ages 12 and younger, parents, families, schools groups and other organized groups from across the region and the country. In fact, 80% of our visitors are families and 20% are groups from schools, churches and communities from a three-state region.

EdVenture’s key assets include EDDIE, the 40- foot tall boy who invites you to climb inside his body, eight world-class galleries featuring 350 hands-on exhibits, a 200-seat community theater, two educational resource centers, a library, a museum shop and a food service cafe where lunch and snacks are served daily. In addition, EdVenture offers year-round activities, programs and special events, such as WOW Weekends, summer day camps, on-going daily programs, seasonal exhibits and blockbuster traveling exhibits that change every four months.

Seeking:
PR Intern - Fall, Spring and Summer
PR Interns must work at least 3 days per week for a total of 12 hours - prefer morning hours. This is an unpaid internship with an academic stipend upon completion.

Part-Time Employment - Ongoing
