Brad Hamm is the dean of Indiana University’s School of
Journalism. Previously, he was associate dean of the School of
Communications at Elon University.
He earned a Ph.D. in mass communication research from the University
of North Carolina, a master’s degree in journalism from USC
in 1991 and an undergraduate degree from Catawba College.
He has taught internationally and focuses on journalism history
and media theory.
