Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts is co-founder and president of National Media Inc. of Alexandria, Va., and is recognized as one of America’s most experienced political/issue advocacy media planning and placement professionals.

In addition to managing the 50-person staff and day-to-day business operations of parent company National Media Inc., Roberts oversees all activity of National Media Research, Planning and Placement Company, and National Media Public Affairs Company.

National Media Research, Planning and Placement is one of the top political and public affairs media companies in the country, involved in more than 200 senatorial, gubernatorial, congressional and issue/advocacy campaigns over the past 25 years. National Media was chosen as the agency of record to provide media research, planning and placement for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaigns of 2000 and 2004. National Media Public Affairs is a full-service, independent communications firm that creates survey-driven, campaign-style strategic communications for corporate, public affairs clients through uncharted business, regulatory, legislative and legal waters.

A native of Kershaw, S.C., and a 1976 advertising/public relations graduate, Roberts was selected in 1998 as a Washington, D.C., finalist as “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young. He and his wife, Beth, and daughters Griffith and Blythe live in McLean, Va.
