1980
Dlinn,
Andrew S:
MMC, recently co-founded and now operates a rapidly expanding strategic
wealth management firm and received his Certified Senior Advisor
(CSA) designation. He is also the host of the only Jewish radio
program in Pittsburgh, Penn. on AM 810 WEDO. Visit www.jewishexperienceradio.com.
1982
Styers, Ron: BA, founded Specialty National Chemical
Corporation, a manufacturer of degreasers and cleaning products for the automotive,
hardware and consumer markets. His product, “Drive Up Super Cleaner” is
sold in over 20,000 stores and growing. In the past, Styers served as an ABC
News reporter at WGHP TV in North Carolina.
1983
DeWitt, David: BA, is spending 2005 as an editor-designer in arts
and features at The International Herald Tribune in Paris. He
will return to the arts desk of The New York Times, which owns the IHT,
in early 2006.
1986
Jones Jr., Robert Maurice: BA, is now the shelter director of the
Frances R. Willis SPCA in Summerville, SC. He manages a staff of 14 shelter
employees and is responsible for all aspects of the non-profit organization
with special emphasis on all aspects of fundraising, media relations and public
relations. He had been the director of public relations for the American Red
Cross, Carolina Lowcountry Chapter in North Charleston for three years. He
is a member of the Charleston Area Grant Professionals, Humane Net and the
Board of Directors for Communities in Schools of Dorchester County.
1987
Bunton, Jean Marie: BA, joined Policy Impact Communications, a Republican
public relations and lobbying firm, as a senior counselor. She formerly
served as the director of communications and chief spokeswoman at the Corporation
for Public Broadcasting from 1993 to 2005.
1988
Baldauf, Mary Pat: BA, is the Midlands Beautiful executive director
and was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Carolina
Recycling Association, one of the largest state-based recycling associations
in the United States. She joined Midlands Beautiful as executive director
in 1998, but has volunteered with the group since the first “Recycling
Day” in 1989. |
