Graduate students must fill out a Program of Study form. In this way, students can be guided into appropriate electives depending upon their interests.

Master's degree students must file their approved programs of study by the end of their first semester of study.

Doctoral students must submit their degree program forms and committee requests as soon as possible and no later than the end of their first year of study.

Students who do not file their programs by the deadline will not be permitted to register for additional course work. This is a USC Graduate School policy.
