If you plan to register for an Independent Study (JOUR 547) or
Internship (JOUR 548) for next semester, you MUST have an approved
Independent Study/Internship Contract on file prior to registering
for the credit.
MMC students may take internships for credit, but the course will
NOT count on your program of study as part of the required 36 hours
of credit. Accreditation regulations will not allow us to give credit
within the program for more than one working-type experience, and
the practicum (JOUR 777) counts as that experience.
